Night to Shine is back and IN PERSON After 2 years of having to celebrate this event through drive thru parades, everyone finally gets to gather at Emmanuel Community Church together again to celebrate the 1-day Prom event for people with special needs!

What is Night to Shine?

Night to Shine was created by the Tim Tebow Foundation with the mission "to bring faith, hope and love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need." For 1 night a year people with special needs, that are 14 and older at over 500 locations across the globe, get to go to prom and celebrate the evening with each other simultaneously on the Friday before Valentine's Day annually! This year the Prom will take place on February 10th, 2023, from 6pm - 9pm, back in the building!! Some activates going on throughout the duration of the event will be a game room, photo booth, limo rides, sensory rooms, karaoke, a quiet room with therapy dogs, a movie room, and so much more!

Celebrate this Event!

If you or someone you know has a loved one with special needs that would love to dress up and

attend this wonderful event, and dance the night away, registration is still open until January 26th! All participants must be registered to ensure a 1:1 ratio for every honored guest to have a buddy. Care takers must also be there in case your loved one needs to use the restroom or needs any medication; buddies are unable to do these tasks. There will be a respite room for all care takers to enjoy the evening with entertainment, relaxation, and door prizes! If care takers would like to be their loved one's date or buddy, make sure to register as a volunteer! We are so excited for this event to take place in the city of Fort Wayne again and can't wait to help with setting up this year. If you are attending, we hope you and your prom King or Queen have the most incredible evening.
